Growing up alongside my father in the lab, I
watched him for countless hours looking through the lens of a microscope.
Bucket in hand, from the age of 4, he would take me through woods,
creeks, frozen rivers, and seigning for the University gathering
hundreds of different species of algae, aquatic life and fish for
his research, which always took place in the small worlds under
the scope. Not as scientifically inclined, I did utilize the ideas
of science into many of my own art projects. This is one. |
